Bhog

Bhog is the sacred food offering presented to the deity during Hindu puja as an expression of devotion, gratitude, and surrender. Prepared with purity and offered after chanting mantras, bhog symbolizes the devotee’s love and respect for the divine.

Bhog usually includes fruits, sweets, cooked food, milk items, or Panchamrit, depending on the deity and the ritual. Once offered, it is believed that the deity accepts the essence of the bhog, transforming it into Prasad, which is then distributed among devotees.
