Nag Pair

The Nag Pair (a pair of serpents, usually made of silver, brass, or clay) holds deep spiritual importance in Hindu puja and represents Nāg Devata, the divine serpent power. Offering or worshipping the Nag Pair symbolizes protection, fertility, balance, and ancestral peace.

Nag Pair puja is especially performed during Nag Panchami, Shiv Puja, Sarp Dosh Nivaran, and Pitru-related rituals. In Hindu belief, serpents are guardians of underground treasures and cosmic energy, and Lord Shiva himself adorns a serpent around his neck, signifying control over fear, death, and ego.
